Edgeryt Hire for Zoom
Edgeryt Hire is a hiring workspace. When you connect Zoom, every interview you schedule in Edgeryt Hire gets its own Zoom meeting, and the join link is sent to the candidate and interviewers automatically.
Before you start
- An Edgeryt Hire workspace where you are an admin (Owner or Admin role).
- A Zoom account (any plan) that will host the interview meetings.
- A paid Edgeryt Hire plan that includes Zoom (Growth), or a Growth trial. Free workspaces can open Settings → Integrations but need Growth to connect Zoom.
Adding the app
- Sign in to Edgeryt Hire and open Settings → Integrations.
- Next to Zoom, click Connect.
- Sign in to Zoom if asked, review the permissions and click Allow.
- You are returned to Edgeryt Hire and Zoom shows as Connected with your Zoom account email. Click Make default if you want new interviews to use Zoom.
Troubleshooting
- No Integrations section — you need an Owner or Admin role. Interviewer-only accounts only see Profile and Notifications.
- Connect is an Upgrade button — Zoom needs Growth. Open Settings → Billing to upgrade or start a trial, then return here.
- Connect fails or reconnects forever — disconnect Zoom in Edgeryt Hire and in the Zoom App Marketplace, then Connect again.
Using the app
- Go to Interviews and click Schedule Interview.
- Choose Zoom as the meeting platform, pick a time and the interviewers, then save.
- Edgeryt Hire creates a Zoom meeting under the connected account with the waiting room on, and adds the join link to the invitation.
- Rescheduling the interview updates the same Zoom meeting. Cancelling the interview deletes it.
What Edgeryt Hire accesses
- Your Zoom profile (name, email and user ID), to show which account is connected.
- Meetings created by Edgeryt Hire, which it creates, updates and deletes for scheduled interviews. It does not read your other meetings, recordings, chats or contacts.

Removing the app
- In Edgeryt Hire, open Settings → Integrations and click Disconnect next to Zoom. This revokes Edgeryt Hire's access and deletes the stored tokens.
- Or, in Zoom, sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace, open Manage → Added Apps, find Edgeryt Hire and click Remove.
After removal, Edgeryt Hire stops creating Zoom meetings and deletes its stored Zoom tokens for your account. Meetings that were already created stay in your Zoom account until you delete them. Interview records in Edgeryt Hire are kept according to your workspace's retention settings; ask us at the address below to delete them.
